Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat upon it, from whose presence earth and heaven fled away, and no place was found for them

Good morning. Now we come to what is known as the great white throne judgment: then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat upon it, from whose presence earth and heaven fled away, and no place was found for them. The order is interesting. When we say it, we would normally say heaven first and earth second. And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the book of life (mentioned several times before); and the dead were judged from the things which were written in the books, according to their deeds. In John chapter 5, Jesus said, “an hour is coming in which all who are in the tombs will hear His voice, and will come forth; those who did the good deeds to a resurrection of life, those who committed the evil deeds to a resurrection of judgment“. Are these dead, ones that we have not talked about previously (possibly those who lived before Jesus); or are they ones we have already mentioned who have already been resurrected? We will see the results of the great white throne judgment next time. Father thank You that the deeds that we will be judged by will be good ones.
