Good morning. John speaking of Jesus: what He has seen and
heard, that He testifies; and no one receives His testimony. Jesus didn’t make
stuff up; He only said and did what the Father told Him to say and do. He who
has received His testimony has set his seal to this, that God is true. For He
whom God has sent speaks the words of God; for He gives the Spirit without
measure. (it’s not that this person gets a little bit, and this other person
gets a whole lot!). The Father loves the Son and has given all things into His
hand. The Father did not hold anything back from the Son. He who believes in
the Son has eternal life; he who does not obey (or believe) the Son will not
see life, but the wrath of God abides on him. So that’s the big question – do
you believe in the Son? Some Christians are so focused on the wrong thing that
this person or that person is doing. They try to get that person to stop doing
it. But that’s not the problem – the problem is they do not have the Son. The
objective is to get these people to believe in the Son. If you don’t, then you
will not see life, and the wrath of God abides on you. In other words, God does
not just give you a little spanking and then that’s it. That wrath abides on
you forever. Father thank You that the reader is going to have a great time
with his/her family. Take care of him/her and his/her family, and meet all of
their needs.
Unless one is born of water and the Spirit he cannot enter into the kingdom of God
Good morning. While Jesus was in Jerusalem at the Passover, during the feast, many believed in His name, observing His signs which He was doing. Jesus was not entrusting Himself to them, for He knew all men. Now there was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews. It doesn’t say, but I assume it is still during this time of the Passover. This man came to Jesus by night. Rabbi, we know that You have come from God as a teacher; for no one can do the signs that You do unless God is with him. It just said that the people believed in His name because of the signs He was doing; yet it does not say what those signs were. Unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God. That is why unbelievers cannot tell what is of the kingdom of God and what is not – they’re not born again. Nicodemus doesn’t have a clue. How can a man be born when he is old? He cannot enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born, can he? Unless one is born of water and the Spirit ...
