About that thorn in the flesh
Good morning. About that thorn in the flesh - A lot of people say that it was some physical ailment of Paul, and from things in other verses that it was his eyes. I think it was the slave girl having a spirit of divination that followed after Paul and Silas, saying “these men are bond servants of the Most High God, who are proclaiming to you a way of salvation“. It says that she did this for many days, and that Paul was greatly annoyed. Back to Corinthians: concerning this I implored the Lord three times that it might leave me (because he was annoyed). He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for (My) power is perfected in weakness“. Back to Acts: Paul turned and said to the spirit, “I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her! “ and it came out at that very moment. In other words, I think Paul was saying, “God You do it“, and God was saying “no, Paul you do it”. But again that is just my opinion. Most gladly therefore I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me. Father thank You that Your grace is sufficient for us in every circumstance. When we recognize what our weaknesses and Your strengths are, then we will be victorious.
