And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus

Good morning. So what happens when we’re not anxious and pray with thanksgiving to God? And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Jesus, just hours away from the cross, said “My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful.“ That is why you see some people in the midst of the storm not running around frantically – they have the peace of God that everything will work out the way He wants it to. That is why you can say it surpasses all comprehension. It doesn’t make sense. In fact, we think there’s something wrong with that person. And that peace will guard your hearts and your minds. When we concentrate on the problems and not on God, our solution, it greatly affects our hearts and our minds with the stress. My Bible says that the word “guard” is a military concept depicting a sentry standing guard. In the midst of the storm, we are confident in our God. Father thank You that Your peace will guard our hearts and our minds when we trust You to take care of everything.
