With all prayer and petition pray at all times in the Spirit

Good morning. What do we do when we take up the sword of the Spirit? With all prayer and petition pray at all times in the Spirit, and with this in view, be on the alert with all perseverance and petition for all the saints, and pray on my behalf, that utterance may be given to me in the opening of my mouth, to make known with boldness the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in proclaiming it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak. Once we are “worded up“, we can pray in the Spirit. Just like Jesus did, Paul tells us to be alert. Sometimes we can pray once, and we’re done. But there are many times that we have to persevere – that the breakthrough does not happen immediately. Paul also asked them to pray for him, but not that he become rich, rather that he may be bold to speak the gospel wherever he goes. We, like Paul, are ambassadors for Christ - though not in chains, like he was. We finally come to the end of Ephesians. Father help us to pray at all times in Your Spirit, to be bold in proclaiming the gospel.
