I bet you weren’t expecting that. The one who says, “I have come to know Him,“ and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. That is the litmus test. But whoever keeps His word, in him the love of God has truly been perfected. By this we know that we are in Him. If you know Jesus and have the Holy Spirit living inside of you, you should be keeping God’s word. If we truly love someone, we want to do things that please them - why not God? Father help us to keep Your word and show that Your love has truly been perfected in us.
