Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great on the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually

Good morning. To add more confusion to what we said yesterday: the Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, (this seems to be parenthetical - when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men, and they bore children to them). Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown (seems to refer to the descendants of the Nephilim). Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great on the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. Sounds like today. The Lord was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart. God had given mankind many centuries to change his heart, but in the end they all wanted to do their own will instead of His. Father, like David, make us men and women after Your own heart.
