And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him
Good morning. He mentions Abel offering to God a better sacrifice by faith; then Enoch being taken up because he was pleasing to God. And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him. (if you seek Him, He will let you find Him) Next he writes: by faith, Noah being warned by God, and in reverence prepared an ark for the salvation of his household. By this he condemned the world, and became an heir of the righteousness which is according to faith. In chapter 2 of Genesis, it says that God had not sent rain upon the earth at that time. It does not mention whether or not rain did come before the flood. Even if it had come, it had not come to the magnitude that it did during the flood. Noah believed God that he would need something as large as the ark to protect himself, his family, and the animals, even though he had never seen anything that would require something that huge. Father help us to believe You when You warn us about things to come.
