Pursue peace with all men, and the sanctification without which no one will see the Lord

Good morning. Pursue (imperative!) peace with all men, and the sanctification without which no one will see the Lord. Legally we are sanctified at rebirth; experientially it takes a lifetime. See to it that no one comes short of the grace of God. Operating in the grace of God is the highest plane. To operate in our own strength and power is to fall short of the grace of God. That no root of bitterness springing up causes trouble, and by it many be defiled. Something causes bitterness, and it is not always obvious – many times it is hidden deep within the roots in the ground. That there be no immoral or godless person like Esau, who sold his own birthright for a single meal. Afterwards he was rejected, for he found no place for repentance though he sought for it with tears. I used to think that he was seeking for his own repentance (change of mind). I now realize that he was trying to change Isaac’s mind through tears, just like little children today. Father help us to set ourselves apart (sanctify) from the people of the world, doing everything that Your word says that we should.
