But if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you.

 Good morning. They brought to Jesus a demon possessed man who was blind and dumb, and He healed him, so that the dumb man spoke and saw. The multitudes wondered, “this man cannot be the Son of David can He?” In other words, they were wondering if Jesus were the Messiah. Of course this upset the Pharisees. Just like earlier in Matthew, the Pharisees said that Jesus cast out demons by the ruler of the demons. So in essence they were saying that the devil was casting out his own workers. But Jesus said “any kingdom divided against itself is laid waste; and any city or house divided against itself shall not stand. And if Satan casts out Satan, he is divided against himself; how then shall his kingdom stand? And if I cast out demons by the ruler of the demons, by whom do your sons cast them out? Consequently they shall be your judges.” In other words if I do it that way, so do your sons do it that way. “But if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you.” In another gospel instead of by the Spirit of God it says by the finger of God. That is interesting because it says that the 10 Commandments were written by the finger of God; and also in Daniel the finger of God wrote on the wall. He who is not with Me is against Me; and he who does not gather with Me scatters. In other words, you cannot be neutral. Father thank You that our entire family is with You. They help to bring people into the kingdom of God.

Then the angel took the censer (The one that had the incense which was mixed with the prayers of the saints) and filled it with the fire of the altar, and threw it to the earth; and there followed peals of thunder and sounds and flashes of lightning and an earthquake. There’s a lot of this going on in revelation. And the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound them. The first sounded, and there came hail and fire, mixed with blood, and they were thrown to the earth; and a third of the earth was burned up, and a third of the trees were burned up, and all the green grass was burned up. The fraction 1/3 shows that it was significant, but not over the entire earth. Why are you timid, you men of little faith?

  Good morning. Remember that Jesus had given orders that they should depart to the other side (of the lake). While Jesus was asleep in the boat, there arose a great storm, so that the boat was covered with the waves. This was no afternoon shower; it was one of those “make the palm trees bend over and touch the ground" kind of storms. And Jesus just slept through it! He had confidence in His Father to protect Him. The disciples, however, were not confident. They were focusing on the circumstances and not on the word Jesus had given them. They awoke Jesus saying, “save us, Lord; we are perishing!” Jesus had told them to go to the other side; so they should've been confident that they would make it. They did not even think about all of the miracles that Jesus had just finished doing. But even if they had, they probably would've said “well that was one thing, this is something entirely different”. The same thing happens to us. God tells us to do something, and a storm arises....
