Good morning. Father, the hour has come; glorify Your Son, that the Son may glorify You, even as You gave Him authority over all flesh, that to all whom You have given Him, He may give eternal life. This is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent. We normally think of something eternal as very lengthy. This indicates that there is also a quality to it - that is, knowing God and Jesus. I glorified You on the earth, having accomplished the work which You have given Me to do. Again Jesus only did what God wanted Him to do. Now Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory that I had with You before the world was. Remember the first part of John that Jesus was with God in the beginning. I have manifested Your name to the men whom You gave me out of the world; they were Yours and You gave them to Me, and they have kept Your word. There were many names for God throughout the Old Testament. In fact when Moses asked God what should he say when the people of Israel ask him who sent you – God said to tell them “I Am” sent you. But nowhere in the Old Testament did anyone call God, Father. Father thank You that You manifested Your name to us. Help us daily to keep Your word.
