Good morning. All things become visible when they are exposed by the light. Of course that's why people of the world don't like to be around us – our light exposes their darkness. Therefore be careful how you walk, not as unwise men but as wise, making the most of your time; because the days are evil. While we are to not change our way of life just because unbelievers don't like it, we don't go around provoking them. And then he says not to get drunk with wine but to be filled with the Spirit – and what is the result – we use our tongue in a very nice way speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody with your heart to the Lord; always giving thanks for all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God, even the Father. Choose how to use your tongue. That is so much better than what we looked at yesterday. Be subject to one another in the fear of Christ. We will gloss over the verses about wives being subject to their… Of course it also talks about husbands loving their wives just as Christ does the church, laying down His life for us. Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. Honor your father and mother (which is the first commandment with a promise), so that it might be well with you, and that you may live long on the earth. Someone has pointed out that it does not say that wives are to obey their husbands; but children are to obey their parents. However, it does not say that we are to boss our children around. Fathers are to not provoke their children to anger, but to bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord. Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. It is not our strength but His … When we are weak, then we are strong. Father thank You that the reader is strong in You and in the strength of Your might. He/she always speaks words that build up others.

  Good morning. And men repented, right? And they blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pain and their sores; and they did not repent of their deeds. The sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river, the Euphrates; and the water was dried up, so that the way would be prepared for the kings from the east. Previously, the 6th angel blew his trumpet and told them to release the four angels at the river Euphrates so that the army of 200 million could cross over. Back to the bowl: and I saw coming out of the mouth of the dragon and out of the mouth of the false prophet, three unclean spirits like frogs; for they are spirits of demons, performing signs, which go out to the kings of the whole world, to gather them together for the war of the great Day of God, the Almighty.   Good morning. We left John at the entrance of the tomb, stooping and looking in. “Shy” Peter then arrives following John, and enters the tomb; and he saw the linen wrappings lying there. So the other disciple, John, who had first come to the tomb then also entered, and he saw and believed. It does not say whether or not Peter believed. For as yet they did not understand the scripture, that He must rise again from the dead. So the disciples went away again to their own homes. I’m not exactly sure what it means by their own homes. They were originally from Galilee and would not have had homes in Jerusalem. Perhaps it means the homes where they were staying while in Jerusalem. Apparently, they were not staying in the upper room, or it would have said so. But Mary was standing outside the tomb weeping; and so, as she wept, she stooped (just like John) and looked into the tomb.
