Good
morning. So Paul says that he didn’t come with an arrogant attitude but: I was
with you in weakness and in fear and in much trembling, and my message and my
preaching were not in persuasive words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the
Spirit and of power, so that your faith would not rest on the wisdom of man,
but on the power of God. When you read Paul’s words in all of his letters, he
doesn’t sound like he was in fear and in much trembling; and he even mentions
that fact specifically later. He didn’t just have a bunch of pretty words; but
he had words ignited by the Holy Spirit that produced salvation in the
listeners, confirmed with power. My Bible says that the Greek word translated
demonstration is used of producing proofs in an argument in court. I guess you
could say that Paul was the Perry Mason of the gospel. Father help us to have
Your words and not ours when we speak to others about salvation. Go with your
people during the coming storm. Move and control it so that it does not harm
them or their property.
And they blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pain and their sores; and they did not repent of their deeds
Good morning. And men repented, right? And they blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pain and their sores; and they did not repent of their deeds. The sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river, the Euphrates; and the water was dried up, so that the way would be prepared for the kings from the east. Previously, the 6th angel blew his trumpet and told them to release the four angels at the river Euphrates so that the army of 200 million could cross over. Back to the bowl: and I saw coming out of the mouth of the dragon and out of the mouth of the false prophet, three unclean spirits like frogs; for they are spirits of demons, performing signs, which go out to the kings of the whole world, to gather them together for the war of the great Day of God, the Almighty. Father continue to bring blessings upon the reader and his/her family every day of their lives.
