Therefore I am well content with weaknesses etc. for Christ’s sake; for when I am weak, then I am strong
Good morning. Therefore I am well content with weaknesses etc. for Christ’s sake; for when I am weak, then I am strong. I should have been commended by you, for in no respect was I inferior to the most “eminent” apostles, even though I am a nobody. More sarcasm from Paul. How could the Corinthians tell the difference between those “eminent” apostles and the apostle Paul? The signs of a true apostle were performed among you with all perseverance by signs and wonders and miracles. Back when I was part of a church where these “apostles“ came in and spoke, but behind the scenes they were trying to take over the church, I never saw any signs or miracles happening while they were there. For in what respect were you treated as inferior to the rest of the churches, except that I myself did not become a burden to you (unlike the eminent apostles)? Forgive me this wrong! More sarcasm. Here for the third time I’m ready to come to you, and I will not be a burden to you; for I do not seek what is yours (unlike the eminent apostles), but you. Father continue your work in the reader and his/her family’s lives. Help his/her parents to find perfect peace.
