Be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might

Good morning. Paul has said a lot in the book of Ephesians, but now he comes to his third and final closing. Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. No matter how good we are or how strong we are, we are helpless and hopeless without God. So how can we do this? Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. Sometimes Christians only put on part of the armor of God, and that leaves openings for the devil to attack. You may have seen movies set in days past, in which a group of defenders are waiting for the attack of the enemy. They think that they will be able to withstand the attack of the enemy, but when it comes, they soon panic and flee. They have no confidence in their ability nor in their armor. Remember that it is because we have on the full armor of God that we are able to stand against the attack of the enemy. Father help the reader to put on Your full armor every day and to stand firm against whatever schemes the devil throws against him/her
