We pray for you always, that our God will count (make) you worthy of your calling, and fulfill every desire for goodness and the work of faith with power

Good morning. Is your head still spinning like Linda Blair’s in the Exorcist from what we said yesterday? And also we pray for you always, that our God will count (make) you worthy of your calling, and fulfill every desire for goodness and the work of faith with power. Wow, thanks Paul! I already have a bad self image of myself in terms of being what I should be as a Christian without you saying that you pray that God will count me worthy of my calling. We all have a desire for goodness, but in the end, we seldom have that desire fulfilled. And why did Paul pray this? So that the name of our Lord Jesus will be glorified in you, and you in Him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ. Tired of going such a long time without more discussion about eschatology (it comes from a Greek word which means last; so it is the study of the last things)? Well, you’ll just have to wait until tomorrow. Father we pray that you count the reader worthy of Your calling, and fulfill his/her every desire for goodness and the work of faith with power.
