The Holy Spirit said to Peter, three men are looking for you. Go downstairs and accompany them without misgivings, for I have sent them Myself

Good morning. We saw last time that Peter was very religious. He had never eaten anything unholy or unclean. That is the way Christians are sometimes. They have to have some set of rules to follow, so that they will know that they are doing what they’re supposed to do. Some even have a checklist: read my Bible ✅ , prayed ✅ , gave my tithe ✅ , etc. The easy/hard part of living the Christian life is to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit. He will lead you to do everything on the checklist and then some. But there are times when He will have you do something completely off the list, and if you’re not following Him, you’ll miss out on what God wants. The vision of the sheet with animals on it happened three times and then was taken up into the sky. Of course Peter was wondering what this was all about. About this time unbeknownst to Peter, the men from Cornelius arrived at the house. They said they were looking for him. The Holy Spirit said to Peter, three men are looking for you. Go downstairs and accompany them without misgivings, for I have sent them Myself. Would we believe it, if the Holy Spirit said something like that to us? You have to learn to know His voice. Words will come to your head, but the big question is, where do they come from? When Peter got downstairs, there were three men seeking to find him. This was a confirmation that it was the Holy Spirit speaking to him. I am the one you’re looking for; what is the reason for which you have come? We will continue this next time. Father help us to come to know the voice of the Holy Spirit and to follow it completely.

But even if you should suffer for the sake of righteousness, you are blessed.
