It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me

Good morning. For through the law I died to the law, so that I might live to God. Then one of our favorite verses which we used to sing, though with words from the King James. I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me. Dead people don’t sin. If we truly act like we are crucified with Christ, then we won’t be sinning. As human beings, we just simply cannot let go of the reins. But this verse says that we have to - that we live our lives by faith in Jesus. He loved us so much that He gave Himself up for us. I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died needlessly. If we could do it on our own by observing the Ten Commandments and the Law of Moses, then we would not have needed for Christ to die for our sins. Father thank You that Christ loved us so much that He gave Himself up for our sins that we might live to Him eternally.
