It was for freedom that Christ set us free; therefore keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery

Good morning. It was for freedom that Christ set us free; therefore keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery (under the law). I say to you that if you receive circumcision, Christ will be of no benefit to you. Circumcision of course would be the greatest commitment to the law. Every man who receives circumcision is under obligation to keep the whole law. They could not pick and choose which parts of the law they wanted to obey. You have been severed from Christ, you who are seeking to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace (which is the way we are justified as Christians) . Some use this to say that a Christian can lose his or her salvation. To me it means that grace is a much higher level than operating under the law; and they have fallen to a much lower standard of living. For we through the Spirit, by faith (not works of the Law), are waiting for the hope of righteousness. Father thank You that we live the Christian life by grace through faith and not by works.
