For the bread of God is that which comes down out of heaven, and gives life to the world.

 Good morning. So now the people ask Jesus, what then do You do for a sign, so that we may see, and believe You? What work do You perform? Are you kidding me? Jesus just fed 5000 people with almost nothing, and you want to know what sign does He perform? Our fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, as it is written, he gave them bread out of heaven to eat. Truly, it is not Moses who has given you the bread out of heaven, but it is My Father Who gives you the true bread out of heaven. For the bread of God is that (He) which comes down out of heaven, and gives life to the world. They of course are still thinking in the natural. I am the bread of life; he who comes to Me will not hunger, and he who believes in Me will never thirst. You have seen Me, and yet do not believe. All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will certainly not (it is a double negative - emphatic negative) cast out. That means we can be confident that Jesus will never turn His back on us. I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me. Jesus was not “doing His own thing“. He was only doing what God wanted Him to do. It is almost impossible to find humans that are that way, especially if they have a family that depends on them. Too many times they are more concerned about taking care of their families than they are about doing the will of God. Father thank You that the reader always does Your will.
