Good morning. Never pay back evil for evil to anyone. Sounds
like Jesus again - turn the other cheek. Respect what is right in the sight of
all men. It does not say to respect everything that everybody believes, which
is how a lot of people today feel. If possible, so far as it depends on you, be
at peace with all men (blessed are the peacemakers). It doesn’t mean that you
have to agree with them; just that it should not be you that is stirring up the
trouble. Never take your own revenge, beloved, but leave room for the wrath of
God, for it is written, vengeance is Mine, I will repay, says the Lord. After
all, He can do a much more thorough job of repaying. Again just like Jesus: but
if your enemy is hungry, feed him, and if he’s thirsty, give him a drink; for
in so doing you will heap burning coals on his head. That is something that
would be hard for us to do in the natural. It is, however, exactly what God did
with us. Even though we were against Him, He still blessed us, even before
making Him Lord of our lives. Father help us to treat others just like You
treat us. Go with the reader and his/her family. Meet their every need.

Therefore I exhort you, be imitators of me. He was saying that just like a child imitates his or her father, they were to imitate him. He says that again seven chapters later. Since it is easy to forget some things about people we have not seen in a while, Paul says that he sent Timothy to them to remind them of his ways which are in Christ, just as he taught everywhere in every church. Some have become arrogant, as though I were not coming to you. I shall find ou...
