Good morning. What has Paul been
saying? Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of
the law. Why didn’t you just say that in the first place? Wake up! Actually
Paul said: do this, knowing the time, that it is already the hour for you to
awaken from sleep; for now salvation is nearer to us than when we believed. Of
course he is not talking about being born again, but about the return of Jesus.
The night is almost gone, and the time is near. Therefore let us lay aside the
deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light. Remember that this is 2000
years ago that Paul was saying that the day is near. My Bible says that these
verses do not mean that the early Christians believed that Jesus would return

of Jesus, “the night“, no matter how long chronologically it may last is almost
gone. Father thank You that no matter how dark the “night“ of this world is, it
is just a moment‘s time before day will appear.
Therefore I exhort you, be imitators of me

There could be many people that you listen to either in church or through the Internet or other means; but there was only one person (as a general rule it was a person) that lead you to Christ. Therefore I exhort you, be imitators of me. He was saying that just like a child imitates his or her father, they were to imitate him. He says that again seven chapters later. Since it is easy to forget some things about people we have not seen in a while, Paul says that he sent Timothy to them to remind them of his ways which are in Christ, just as he taught everywhere in every church. Some have become arrogant, as though I were not coming to you. I shall find ou...
