Good morning. Today we're
going to start the book of Ephesians. I only mentioned a few verses previously;
and it is possible that I will mention the same ones again. It says that God
has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ.
Need a spiritual blessing – it's yours. Of course we've got to get it from up
there to down here. In Christ we have everything. He has blessed us – just as
He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world. God chose you Rani! And
it wasn't just at the last moment. It was before the world existed. It was a
deliberate choice, because He saw something special in you. Why did He choose
us – that we should be holy and blameless before Him. It's kind of like
choosing up sides to play backyard baseball. Only God got to do all of His
choosing first. He didn't just choose us and leave us. He had something special
planned for us – that we should be holy and blameless. That is His will, and
that will happen. In love He predestined us to adoption as sons through Jesus
Christ to Himself, according to the kind intention of His will. It is our
destiny. A person needs to be certain before adopting a child. You can't change
your mind, if you don't like the product. God knew what He was getting, and He
still adopted us. Father thank You that You loved the reader so much that You
chose him/her before the foundation of the world to be Your child. You have
blessed him/her with every spiritual blessing in Christ!
Out of the smoke came locusts upon the earth, and power was given to them, as the scorpions of the earth have power.
Good morning. Out of the smoke came locusts upon the earth, and power was given to them, as the scorpions of the earth have power. (Kind of like Egypt with the grasshoppers). They were told not to hurt the grass of the earth, not any green thing, nor any tree (normally these are the things that the locusts would be interested in), but only the men who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads (most likely the 144,000 - possibly the only believers left on earth). They were not permitted to kill anyone, but to torment for five months [My Bible says it is a limited period of time suggested by the lifecycle of the locust.]; and their torment was like the torment of a scorpion when it stings a man. Add in those days men will seek death and will not find it; they will long to die, and death flees from them. I guess the stings were so painful that they got to the point where they wished they were dead. We will see what the locusts looked like tomorrow. Father just like You will pro...
