Good morning. Therefore let one who speaks in a tongue pray that
he may interpret. For if I pray in a tongue, my spirit prays, but my mind is
unfruitful. Just praying in tongues without an interpretation can help flush
out what is clogging up your spiritual pipeline; however it does not give you
any direction as to what you should do. You need an interpretation. However,
when you flush out your spiritual pipeline, many times the thought will come do
your mind of exactly what you should do. There is this teaching out there that
says go ahead and pray in tongues; pray that you may interpret; and then
whatever comes to your mind is the interpretation of what you said in tongues.
They are to then take that as coming straight from God. I’m not saying that it
does not work for some people; but I am alarmed at the thought of most
Christians doing that. They don’t have the spiritual maturity and/or are not
well grounded in the word of God. You will hear something in your mind, but
it’s probably not God. I have been speaking in tongues and prophesying for 40
years and know what God “sounds like“, and I don’t trust myself doing that.
However, as I said, after praying in tongues, it does clear your mind to hear
from God. Father continue helping the reader and his/her family member.
So the other disciple who had first come to the tomb then also entered, and he saw and believed
Good morning. We left John at the entrance of the tomb, stooping and looking in. “Shy” Peter then arrives following John, and enters the tomb; and he saw the linen wrappings lying there. So the other disciple, John, who had first come to the tomb then also entered, and he saw and believed. It does not say whether or not Peter believed. For as yet they did not understand the scripture, that He must rise again from the dead. So the disciples went away again to their own homes. I’m not exactly sure what it means by their own homes. They were originally from Galilee and would not have had homes in Jerusalem. Perhaps it means the homes where they were staying while in Jerusalem. Apparently, they were not staying in the upper room, or it would have said so. But Mary was standing outside the tomb weeping; and so, as she wept, she stooped (just like John) and looked into the tomb. She saw two angels in white sitting, one at the head and one at the feet, where the body of Jesus had been l...
