The Lord appeared to Abram and said, “To your descendants I will give this land

Good morning. Abram passed through the land as far as the site of Shechem (we will see this name again later), to the oak of Moreh. The Canaanite was then in the land. The Lord appeared to Abram and said, “To your descendants I will give this land“. So he built an altar there to the Lord who had appeared to him. The Lord appeared to him several times during his life. Some think that it was Jesus in His pre-incarnate form. After having a spiritual experience, building an altar to the Lord was common in the book of Genesis. Then he proceeded from there to the mountain on the east of Bethel [My Bible says that it was just north of Jerusalem], and pitched his tent, with Bethel on the west and Ai (a place in the book of Joshua) on the east; and there he built an altar to the Lord and called upon the name of the Lord. He continued on toward the Negev (a dry waste land towards the south, mentioned numerous times in the old testament). Father help us to go everywhere that You want us to go during our lifetime.
