And having been made perfect, He became to all those who obey Him the source of eternal salvation

Good morning. And having been made perfect (again he is not saying that Jesus was less than perfect), He became to all those who obey Him the source of eternal salvation, being designated by God as a high priest according to the order of Melchizedek. Concerning him (Melchizedek) we have much to say, and it is hard to explain, since you have become dull of hearing. For by this time you ought to be teachers, you have need again for someone to teach you the elementary principles of the oracles of God, and you have come to need milk and not solid food. Behaving like a baby when you are only a few months old is one thing, but still acting that way years later means you have a problem. This happens too often in churches. Sometimes baby Christians never grow up spiritually. For everyone who partakes only of milk is not accustomed to the word of righteousness, for he is an infant. But solid food is for the mature, who because of practice (some Christians don’t practice the word of righteousness that is preached to them) have their senses trained to discern good and evil. Some people need their spiritual diapers changed. Father we determine to not stay infants, drinking only milk, but to grow up spiritually and be strong for ourselves, friends, and family.

Out of the smoke came locusts upon the earth, and power was given to them, as the scorpions of the earth have power.

But even if you should suffer for the sake of righteousness, you are blessed.
