Good morning. Parts of
Psalm 37 and 40: The Lord does not
forsake His godly ones. They are preserved forever. He will never forsake you.
He will take care of you forever. You, the righteous, will inherit the land and
dwell in it forever. Your mouth utters wisdom because the word of your God is
in your heart. Your steps do not slip. The word of God will keep you from
walking down the wrong path. You will not slip and fall. Remember He has you by
the hand to keep you from falling. Wait for the Lord and keep His way; and He
will exalt you to inherit the land. There's that waiting thing again. The Lord
is your strength in time of trouble: He helps you and delivers you because you
take refuge in Him. I waited patiently – there it is again – for the Lord and
He inclined to me and heard my cry. He set your feet upon a rock making your
footsteps firm. He put a new song in your mouth a song of praise to our God.
And because of that many will see and fear and will trust in the Lord. Because
of your attitude, people will want to know the Lord. Your ears He has opened to
hear His voice. You delight to do His will and His word is in your heart. He
does not withhold His compassion from you, and His lovingkindness and truth
will continually preserve you. Father thank You that You continually go with
the reader to guide and protect him/her. You keep his/her feet from slipping
and make him/her to stand firm. You grant all of his/her desires because he/she
trusts in you.

Good morning. We left John at the entrance of the tomb, stooping and looking in. “Shy” Peter then arrives following John, and enters the tomb; and he saw the linen wrappings lying there. So the other disciple, John, who had first come to the tomb then also entered, and he saw and believed. It does not say whether or not Peter believed. For as yet they did not understand the scripture, that He must rise again from the dead. So the disciples went away again to their own homes. I’m not exactly sure what it means by their own homes. They were originally from Galilee and would not have had homes in Jerusalem. Perhaps it means the homes where they were staying while in Jerusalem. Apparently, they were not staying in the upper room, or it would have said so. But Mary was standing outside the tomb weeping; and so, as she wept, she stooped (just like John) and looked into the tomb. She saw two angels in white sitting, one at the head and one at the feet, where the body of Jesus had been l...
