Good morning. We're going
to look at some things in Isaiah. This is for those people who are fulfilling
all the trappings of Christianity by being "religious". When you
spread out your hands in prayer, I will hide My eyes from you, yes, even though
you multiply prayers, I will not listen. "But God, I've gone to church,
I've given money, I've been a good person. Why don't you hear my prayers?"
First clean up your act: wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; remove the
evil of your deeds from my sight. Cease to do evil. Of course we can't – only
He can make us clean. Only He can help us to cease from doing evil. However we
need to put forth the effort to help Him accomplish it. Then one of the most
powerful verses of all: though your sins are as scarlet, they will be white as
snow; though they are red like crimson, they will be white like wool. It took
His red blood to make our red sins to become white. There is nothing religious
that we can do to accomplish that. It took Him to do it. If you consent and
obey, you will eat the best of the land. We are not just going to barely get
along. We are going to eat Donald Trump style. What happens if we don't do His
will? But if you refuse and rebel, you will be devoured by the sword. If you
refuse to do His will, then you are rebelling; and rebellion is as the sin of
witchcraft. The word devoured comes from the same root word as the devourer in
Malachi. I will also turn My hand against you, and will smelt away your dross
as with lye, and will remove all your alloy. When we are not pure, He needs to
remove all of the impurities. Lye is caustic – it will burn. It will not be
pleasant when He does it. It's like the story of God rubbing the cat's fur the
wrong way, against the grain. The cat says "God why don't you rub me the
other direction? This way is uncomfortable." God says "why don't you
turn around"? We need to quit rebelling and turn around. Father we thank
You for the red, red blood of Jesus that makes our sins as white as snow. Thank
You that the reader will eat the best of the land. Through all he/she will
prevail with Your help.
Unless one is born of water and the Spirit he cannot enter into the kingdom of God
Good morning. While Jesus was in Jerusalem at the Passover, during the feast, many believed in His name, observing His signs which He was doing. Jesus was not entrusting Himself to them, for He knew all men. Now there was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews. It doesn’t say, but I assume it is still during this time of the Passover. This man came to Jesus by night. Rabbi, we know that You have come from God as a teacher; for no one can do the signs that You do unless God is with him. It just said that the people believed in His name because of the signs He was doing; yet it does not say what those signs were. Unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God. That is why unbelievers cannot tell what is of the kingdom of God and what is not – they’re not born again. Nicodemus doesn’t have a clue. How can a man be born when he is old? He cannot enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born, can he? Unless one is born of water and the Spirit ...
