Good morning. I hope you
had a restful night. Proverbs: the hope of the righteous is gladness. The way
of the Lord is a stronghold to the upright. Walking in the way of the Lord is a
protection against the attacks of the enemy. It is our stronghold. The
righteous will never be shaken. You, Rani, will never be shaken. That's because
you walk in the way of the Lord. The devil wants us to believe that we can be
shaken. Then we will walk in fear all of our lives, and he can control us. The
mouth of the righteous flows with wisdom. He's talking about your mouth. The
lips of the righteous brings forth what is acceptable. What we say should be
acceptable. Too many times people who say they are Christians – what comes out
of their mouths is not acceptable. A false balance is an abomination to the
Lord. Just because you got the better of someone by cheating, that does not
mean that what you did is approved by God. You may think you got away with
something, but God is watching. When pride comes, then comes dishonor. When you
think that you got away with something by cheating someone, you start to feel
proud of yourself. God will get you in the end (I'm not saying which end). With
the humble is wisdom. You know that it's not you doing it – it's God, and you
have nothing to be proud about. That is truly wisdom. The integrity of the
upright will guide them. It is our GPS system. Righteousness delivers from
death. The righteousness of the blameless will smooth his way. You will have
smooth sailing. Father thank You that the reader will never be shaken. Out of his/her
mouth flows wisdom. Righteousness and integrity will guide him/her and deliver him/her
from death; he/she will have a smooth path.
So the other disciple who had first come to the tomb then also entered, and he saw and believed
Good morning. We left John at the entrance of the tomb, stooping and looking in. “Shy” Peter then arrives following John, and enters the tomb; and he saw the linen wrappings lying there. So the other disciple, John, who had first come to the tomb then also entered, and he saw and believed. It does not say whether or not Peter believed. For as yet they did not understand the scripture, that He must rise again from the dead. So the disciples went away again to their own homes. I’m not exactly sure what it means by their own homes. They were originally from Galilee and would not have had homes in Jerusalem. Perhaps it means the homes where they were staying while in Jerusalem. Apparently, they were not staying in the upper room, or it would have said so. But Mary was standing outside the tomb weeping; and so, as she wept, she stooped (just like John) and looked into the tomb. She saw two angels in white sitting, one at the head and one at the feet, where the body of Jesus had been l...
