Conduct yourselves with wisdom toward outsiders, making the most of your opportunity

Good morning. And now an admonition that is so relevant for today: conduct yourselves with wisdom toward outsiders, making the most of your opportunity. We have to walk a fine line, being careful what we say or do when we are with nonbelievers. That does not mean that we approve of what they say or do, nor do we behave like them. In the past, too many times Christians flaunted their Christianity. They openly condemned those who were behaving contrary to what that Christian thought the Bible said. Unfortunately, today it is the other way around – they flaunt their worldliness, and condemn us if we don’t go along with them. So how should we behave? Let your speech always be with grace, as though seasoned with salt, so that you will know how you should respond to each person. Our speech and conduct with non-believers should be “salty“ so that we will make them hungry and thirsty for the things of God. Father help us to conduct ourselves with wisdom towards non-believers speaking words and having actions that will make them hungry and thirsty for You.
