Good morning. We are back
in Psalms. He changes a wilderness into a pool of water, and a dry land into
springs of water. He can take a desperate situation and change it into just the
opposite. So whatever bad thing is happening to you, He can turn it around. His
lovingkindness is great above the heavens; and His truth reaches to the skies.
Through God we shall do valiantly; and it is He who will tread down our
enemies. We are not to just barely get along in life. We are to be victorious
over all our enemies; whether they are physical or spiritual. In the midst of
many I will praise Him. I will give thanks to the Lord with all my heart, in
the company of the upright and in the assembly. This is where giving our
testimony in church comes into play. When other believers hear what God has
done for us, it encourages them that He will do it for them too. Great are the
works of the Lord; they are studied by all who delight in them. This is why we
read the word – both the Old and New Testament. When we see what God did for
them, we know that He can and will do it for us too. The fear of the Lord is
the beginning of wisdom; a good understanding have all those who do His
commandments. You want wisdom and understanding
– fear the Lord and do His commandments. Father I thank You that You
change the reader’s dry land into springs of water. You help him/her to do
valiantly. You give him/her wisdom and understanding.

Good morning. We left John at the entrance of the tomb, stooping and looking in. “Shy” Peter then arrives following John, and enters the tomb; and he saw the linen wrappings lying there. So the other disciple, John, who had first come to the tomb then also entered, and he saw and believed. It does not say whether or not Peter believed. For as yet they did not understand the scripture, that He must rise again from the dead. So the disciples went away again to their own homes. I’m not exactly sure what it means by their own homes. They were originally from Galilee and would not have had homes in Jerusalem. Perhaps it means the homes where they were staying while in Jerusalem. Apparently, they were not staying in the upper room, or it would have said so. But Mary was standing outside the tomb weeping; and so, as she wept, she stooped (just like John) and looked into the tomb. She saw two angels in white sitting, one at the head and one at the feet, where the body of Jesus had been l...
