Good morning. We are back
to the handout sheets. You were not a mistake, for all your days are written in
My book. Isn't that super to know that we are not a mistake? Too many people in
the world feel like they were a mistake. God wrote down all of our days even
before we were born. That does not mean that He wanted all of the things that
happened to us to happen. It does mean that He knew they were going to happen
before they happened. He even tried to warn us they were going to happen; but
we either did not hear Him or we ignored Him. What is He trying to tell us
right now that is going to happen, if we don't heed His warning? I determined
the exact time of your birth and where you would live. We were not born in the
wrong century, as some people believe they were. Even though we may not have
gotten to this exact spot the best way possible, God made it happen anyway. We
are not here just to take up space. God has a plan for us at this point in His
timeline. I know it's hard to not just think about the now; rather we should
think about how God wants to use us to fulfill His plan on earth. He needs
people committed to Him to fulfill it. You are fearfully and wonderfully made.
That's because: I knit you together in your mother's womb; and brought you forth
on the day you were born. God does not make a mistake – especially when He
created you. Father thank You for creating the reader. Thank You that he/she is
fearfully and wonderfully made. He/she has the exact qualities You want him/her
to have. Help him/her to discover what You want him/her to do with the rest of his/her
life.
So the other disciple who had first come to the tomb then also entered, and he saw and believed
Good morning. We left John at the entrance of the tomb, stooping and looking in. “Shy” Peter then arrives following John, and enters the tomb; and he saw the linen wrappings lying there. So the other disciple, John, who had first come to the tomb then also entered, and he saw and believed. It does not say whether or not Peter believed. For as yet they did not understand the scripture, that He must rise again from the dead. So the disciples went away again to their own homes. I’m not exactly sure what it means by their own homes. They were originally from Galilee and would not have had homes in Jerusalem. Perhaps it means the homes where they were staying while in Jerusalem. Apparently, they were not staying in the upper room, or it would have said so. But Mary was standing outside the tomb weeping; and so, as she wept, she stooped (just like John) and looked into the tomb. She saw two angels in white sitting, one at the head and one at the feet, where the body of Jesus had been l...
