Good morning. We are back
in the handout sheets. When I was fenced in, You freed me and rescued me
because You loved me. We have all felt fenced in at times. There was no way of
escape. And yet God came to our rescue. He freed us not because He had to, nor
because of anything we did, but because He loved us. And when it looks like
there is no hope – "that clinches it help is coming, an answer is on the
way! Everything is going to work out". When it's the darkest storm, the “Sonlight”
always shows up. We know everything is going to be all right. Watch this. God's
eye is upon those who respect Him, the ones looking for His love. He's ready to
come to their rescue in bad times. In lean times, He keeps body and soul
together. He is always watching over us. That is because we love and respect
Him. When we can't keep it together – He does. This poor man cried and the Lord
heard him and delivered him out of all his troubles. Remember the song taken
out of second Samuel "I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised."
God doesn't deliver pizzas – He delivers people. Father thank You for helping
the reader in his/her times of need. You answer even before he/she calls. You
watch over him/her at all times.
So the other disciple who had first come to the tomb then also entered, and he saw and believed
Good morning. We left John at the entrance of the tomb, stooping and looking in. “Shy” Peter then arrives following John, and enters the tomb; and he saw the linen wrappings lying there. So the other disciple, John, who had first come to the tomb then also entered, and he saw and believed. It does not say whether or not Peter believed. For as yet they did not understand the scripture, that He must rise again from the dead. So the disciples went away again to their own homes. I’m not exactly sure what it means by their own homes. They were originally from Galilee and would not have had homes in Jerusalem. Perhaps it means the homes where they were staying while in Jerusalem. Apparently, they were not staying in the upper room, or it would have said so. But Mary was standing outside the tomb weeping; and so, as she wept, she stooped (just like John) and looked into the tomb. She saw two angels in white sitting, one at the head and one at the feet, where the body of Jesus had been l...
