Good morning. We are in Proverbs. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. It is hard sometimes to trust in God and not go according to our intellect. It doesn't look like the right way to go according to our mind. It reminds me of the story about the tightrope walker. The tightrope was stretched across a canyon. He asked the crowd "do you believe I am able to walk across this tightrope"? Yes they cheered! And so he did. Then he asked "do you believe I can do it pushing a wheelbarrow"? Yes they cheered! And so he did. Then he asked "do you believe I can do it pushing a wheelbarrow with someone inside"? Again they cheered yes! Then he said "if you really believe it, then get in the wheelbarrow". We say we believe God can do something; but too many times we are afraid to get in the wheelbarrow. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. We are the ones that make our paths crooked. He is the one that makes them straight. We are the ones that turn to the left or to the right off the path. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and turn away from evil. If I feel like I am the one that's doing it, then pride will enter my heart. Why do I need God then? We shouldn't even go near evil. There is too much of a temptation there. And what will be the result? It will be healing to your body, and refreshment to your bones. Some days these bones need refreshment. If you want healing to your body, walk in the paths that the Lord directs you. Father thank You that the reader constantly walks in Your paths; he/she listens to You and does not lean on his/her own understanding. He/she has healing to his/her body and refreshment to his/her bones.
