Good morning. Look upon my
affliction and rescue me, for I do not forget Your law. Want to get away? Don't
forget God's word. For in it He always gives us the way of escape. Revive me
according to Your word. Down and out? Depressed? God's word will revive you.
The sum of Your word is truth. Each part of God's word is true – the totality
of it is truth indeed. And every one of Your righteous ordinances is
everlasting. What is true today, was true yesterday, and will be true tomorrow
- forever. That is because God's word, like Jesus Christ, is the same
yesterday, today, and forever. Those who love Your law have great peace. Don't
have peace? Don't take a pill – take the word. And nothing causes them to
stumble. That is the only way we can keep from stumbling, that is, to be filled
with God's word. Need deliverance – deliver me according to Your word. His word
is like one of those old Western elixirs – it's good for everything that ails
you. Let Your hand be ready to help me, Your law is my delight. Let my soul
live that it may praise You, and let Your ordinances help me. Everything we
need is in God's word. And thus endeth Psalm 119. Father we thank You for Your
word. It has everything we need. Let it guide and protect the reader throughout
the day. It will never fail, and neither will he/she.

Good morning. We left John at the entrance of the tomb, stooping and looking in. “Shy” Peter then arrives following John, and enters the tomb; and he saw the linen wrappings lying there. So the other disciple, John, who had first come to the tomb then also entered, and he saw and believed. It does not say whether or not Peter believed. For as yet they did not understand the scripture, that He must rise again from the dead. So the disciples went away again to their own homes. I’m not exactly sure what it means by their own homes. They were originally from Galilee and would not have had homes in Jerusalem. Perhaps it means the homes where they were staying while in Jerusalem. Apparently, they were not staying in the upper room, or it would have said so. But Mary was standing outside the tomb weeping; and so, as she wept, she stooped (just like John) and looked into the tomb. She saw two angels in white sitting, one at the head and one at the feet, where the body of Jesus had been l...
