Good morning. We are back in Proverbs. It talks about: do not devise harm against your neighbor – sounds like the pastor's sermon Sunday. Do not contend with a man without cause, if he has done you no harm. As you know some people are just itching for a fight. They are looking for an excuse to get into it. But we are to "not envy a man of violence, and do not choose any of his ways". That's hard to do sometimes when you see them successful. The Lord is intimate with the upright. He blesses the dwelling of the righteous. That means your dwelling is blessed! Acquire wisdom, acquire understanding. Do not forget, nor turn away from the words of My mouth. Do not forsake her, and she will guard you; love her, and she will watch over you. The beginning of wisdom is: acquire wisdom; and with all your acquiring, get understanding. Prize her, and she will exalt you; she will honor you if you embrace her. And as if God is talking to you personally: my son, give attention to My words; incline your ear to My sayings. Do not let them depart from your sight; keep them in the midst of your heart. Always let God's word fill your mind. And why should we do it? For they are life to those who find them, and health to all their whole body. God's words are life and health. Why would anyone want to depart from them? Father thank You that Your words are always on the reader’s mind. They guide him/her and give him/her life and health. He/she does good to all those around him/her, and You bless him/her in all his/her ways.
