Good morning. As proverbs
says: watch over your heart with all diligence, for from it flow the springs of
life. Put away from you a deceitful mouth, and put devious lips far from you.
Jesus said from out of your heart comes these deceitful things. Out of the
heart the mouth speaks. And James asks: how can good and bad things come out of
the same mouth? What our heart dwells on will eventually come out of our mouths
and our lives. If you deceive others, you will also be deceived. As we've said
before: let your eyes look directly ahead, and your gaze be fixed straight in
front of you. Watch the path of your feet, and all your ways will be
established. Do not turn to the right nor to the left; turn your foot from
evil. It's up to us. You can't dance with the devil without getting burned.
It's not called the straight and narrow path for nothing. How can we keep on
the straight and narrow path and not have devious lips - keep God's words and
treasure His commandments within you. Keep His commandments and live, and His
teaching as the apple of your eye. God's word must be first and foremost in our
lives. We must treasure it in our hearts. Then we won't have harmful things
coming out of our mouths and our paths will be straight. Father thank You that
You keep the reader's heart fixed on Your words. You keep his/her paths
straight.
Out of the smoke came locusts upon the earth, and power was given to them, as the scorpions of the earth have power.
Good morning. Out of the smoke came locusts upon the earth, and power was given to them, as the scorpions of the earth have power. (Kind of like Egypt with the grasshoppers). They were told not to hurt the grass of the earth, not any green thing, nor any tree (normally these are the things that the locusts would be interested in), but only the men who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads (most likely the 144,000 - possibly the only believers left on earth). They were not permitted to kill anyone, but to torment for five months [My Bible says it is a limited period of time suggested by the lifecycle of the locust.]; and their torment was like the torment of a scorpion when it stings a man. Add in those days men will seek death and will not find it; they will long to die, and death flees from them. I guess the stings were so painful that they got to the point where they wished they were dead. We will see what the locusts looked like tomorrow. Father just like You will pro...
