Good morning. Yesterday we talked about paying much closer attention to what we have heard. After it was at the first spoken through the Lord, it was confirmed to us by those who heard. Jesus spoke to the disciples. They then passed along what they had heard and seen. These were eyewitnesses. It wasn't just someone who heard someone who heard someone say something. That can be far from what was really said. So how did we know that it was accurate? God also bearing witness with them, both by signs and wonders and by various miracles and by gifts of the Holy Spirit according to His own will. God is the One who bore witness to what they said with convincing proofs. Also, they did not conjure up things on their own. Everything came through the Holy Spirit, and it was by God's will. Back to the angels: He did not subject to angles the world to come, concerning which we are speaking. Quoting from Psalm eight: "what is man… You have put all things in subjection under his feet." For in subjecting all things to him, He left nothing that is not subject to him, but now we do not yet see all things subjected to him. God had great plans for man, but man blew it. He should've been king of the world. But not to fear; God had a better plan – Jesus. Father thank You that You meet all of the reader’s needs. You strengthen and encourage him/her every day.
