Good morning. Back to
Psalm 91. We left off where it was talking about all the bad stuff happening to
the people around you. You will only look on with your eyes, and see the
recompense of the wicked. For you have made the Lord, my refuge, even the most
high, your dwelling place. All this bad stuff happening to people and we are
just observers. That's because we have God as our refuge, and they don't.
Remember to stay under His wings. A verse we should repeat every day: no evil
will befall you, nor will any plague come near your tent. It can't come where
God is. Stand your ground! For He will give His angels charge concerning you,
to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, lest you
strike your foot against a stone. He is our protector from all harm. You will
tread upon the lion and the cobra, the young lion and the serpent you will
trample down. We usually run from danger; but this says we can walk right over
it without harm. And why will God do this? Because the reader has loved Me,
therefore I will deliver him/her, I will set him/her securely on high because he/she
has known My name. He/she will call upon Me, and I will answer him/her; I will
be with him/her in trouble; I will rescue him/her, and honor him/her. With a
long life I will satisfy him/her, and let him/her behold My salvation.

Good morning. We left John at the entrance of the tomb, stooping and looking in. “Shy” Peter then arrives following John, and enters the tomb; and he saw the linen wrappings lying there. So the other disciple, John, who had first come to the tomb then also entered, and he saw and believed. It does not say whether or not Peter believed. For as yet they did not understand the scripture, that He must rise again from the dead. So the disciples went away again to their own homes. I’m not exactly sure what it means by their own homes. They were originally from Galilee and would not have had homes in Jerusalem. Perhaps it means the homes where they were staying while in Jerusalem. Apparently, they were not staying in the upper room, or it would have said so. But Mary was standing outside the tomb weeping; and so, as she wept, she stooped (just like John) and looked into the tomb. She saw two angels in white sitting, one at the head and one at the feet, where the body of Jesus had been l...
